Situated a few minutes walk from gay De Waterkant in the upmarket area of Green Point and bordering the V&A Waterfront, the Protea Hotel Victoria Junction is surrounded by avant-garde restaurants and shops. However, it still manages to maintain magnificent views of Table Mountain, the Waterfront and the Harbour.
This hotel’s public areas are uniquely styled to film set themes. The restaurant and ‘Out of Africa’ lounge – based on a Kenyan gentleman’s cigar lounge –is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Alternatively, “The Beach House” offers coffees, pastas, salads, seafood – or if you fancy something stronger – a tempting cocktail menu!
There are 172 guest rooms each with an extra-length bed, compact executive desks fitted with modem points and individual tea/coffee making facilities. Outside the hotel’s lap pool and deck are a welcome place to soak up the rays and relax. Two Fitness Centres are located within walking distance of the hotel.
