Centre point of Madikwe River Lodge life is the reception building with lounge, restaurant/bar and terraces. Across the river on a small island is the boma where on warm evenings dinner is served around a camp fire to the sounds of traditional African music and entertainment. And if the evening is set fair, a bush dinner is served a short distance from the Lodge itself.

In addition, wild life can often be spotted from the balcony or terrace of your lodge enabling you to enjoy watching it throughout the day. The knowledgeable ranger guides accompany every drive and bring the whole experience alive with their insights of local animal behaviour.

Lodge life is a relaxing mix of lazy days on the terraces chatting with fellow guests or topping up your tan around the swimming pool intermixed with a sunrise and sunset three hour game drive each day.

Occasional game walks into the bush surrounding the Lodge are also possible by local arrangement, wild life permitting.

Accommodation is on an all-inclusive basis with early morning juices and hot drinks before your game drive, breakfast upon return, three course buffet lunch and four course dinner plus a high tea before your afternoon drive.
