Because of expansion of both our Amro Holidays and 192 Villas brands, and to meet the demand for an ever increasing range of holidays, we are now seeking a
Helpdesk Manager to join us at our offices in Hitchin, North Hertfordshire.
You will report to the General Manager and your duties will broadly include
- Overseeing and managing our Helpdesk activities
- Receiving holiday enquires by telephone and e-mail.
- Preparing the holiday proposal including flights, accommodation and ground arrangements.
- Pricing the holiday and selling to the client.
- Confirming all arrangements and issuing travel documentation.
- Day to day liaison with our worldwide network of suppliers.
- Monitoring our website bookings
This is a full-time or part-time appointment with no weekend or holidays working. We are particularly interested in hearing from those who would appreciate flexible working hours We are offering 4 weeks paid holiday leave plus bank holidays in addition to one FAM Trip each year at the company’s expense.
You must have retail travel industry experience preferably at outlet manager level and be used to achieving sales targets. You’ll also have good MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Browser skills. You should be well organised, able to work without close supervision, demonstrate an attention to detail and be capable of managing a complex workload with a "can-do" mind to resource some of our more unusual destination requests.
Salary: £18 - 20K pro-rata depending on experience plus a sales related bonus.
