Noosa offers an ideal holiday experience with whole array of options for gay and lesbian travellers. Everything from gay-friendly accommodation, to festivals, club scenes, spa resorts and private beaches.
If life's a beach then the Sunshine Coast is surely the life! Cracking surf beaches, top restaurants, a charming rainforest hinterland and access to World Heritage Fraser Island make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Coast begins just north of Brisbane at Caloundra and extends to Fraser Island through the surfside towns of Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Coolum and Noosa. The Coast also takes in the hinterland villages of the Glasshouse Mountains, The Blackall Range and Eumundi.
Over the last five years, the Sunshine Coast has hosted the Queensland Recovery Week of choice following the rigours of Sydney's famed Mardi Gras. Rainforest hideaways, private beaches & hidden coves, as well as a treasure trove of trendy cafes, bars and restaurants always soothe the soul. Alternatively, keep the party going and pride alive at Crush held every second Saturday of the month in Maroochydore.
Noosa is around 90 minutes drive from Brisbane International airport and the route is serviced well by a number of shuttle bus services, coach lines and chauffeured cars. Nearer is Maroochydore (MCY) - a scenic fifteen minute drive from Noosa. Door to door bus transfers are available and we also offer a personalized meet and greet service for parties of up to three.
