Our favourite hotel in Puerto Vallarta
Abbey's clientele is predominantly gay men with a few lesbians. Its location of just one block back from the Playa de Los Muertos beach is ideal and Blue Chairs is a five minutes walk further away. So you’re right in the heart of the Zona Romantica for all the gay life both day and night.
Recently changed ownership, the property is much improved and provides a welcoming and friendly place. This isn’t a high end chain hotel although for a clean and basic place to stay with a friendly and mainly gay staff, it well meets our criteria as a Little Gem property.
There are 42 rooms and 12 suites. All rooms have a spectacular breathtaking view of the Puerto Vallarta City and Bay the locals call Bahia de Banderas. The Suites include a kitchenette and living room area with a very nice dining table. Guests are currently preferred visitors at the "RITMO BEACH CLUB" on the Green Chair Beach only a 2 to 3 minutes stroll away.
