Great Value in a Great Location
We consider this hotel to be our find on the Riviera Maya. Located in the heart of Playa del Carmen one block from 5th Avenue and three blocks from the beach, this is a two storey hotel built around its pool and terraces.
One of Playa’s original hotels, it has been extensively updated and now features marble bathrooms, satellite TV and wi-fi throughout. Its furnishing do, however, reflect the local style of dark carved woods although we are told the mattresses are so comfortable guest have asked to take them away !! There is a shady freshwater swimming pool surrounded by terraces with sun loungers and parasols.
Our accommodations are in luxury rooms with one king-size bed, private balcony or terrace and include breakfast served at the poolside snack bar.
