Superb location for this gay friendly 4 Star hotel
Located on the Avenida de Tirajana - that's the main drag from the Yumbo to the Dunes and Beach - the Catarina just couldn't be better located. Many rooms overlook the dunes themselves so the long trek to Kiosk no 7 is much reduced yet the Yumbo is just ten minutes walk into town. The re-emerging Cita Centre with its many gay bars and clubs is also just five minutes away.
Rooms in the Catarina are spacious with a seating area and desk with built-in refrigerator for cool drinks. All have balconies with table, chairs and drying rack. Rooms with two single beds or one double are available on request. The buffet service for breakfast and dinner enjoys long opening hours for that late lie-in or siesta after the beach before dinner and heading our again.
Catarina is popular with gay singles and couples alike offering good value for those who do not wish self-catering. Although a large hotel, the free-form pool and spacious gardens offer plenty of quiet corners to relax away from others.
