A family-run hotel welcoming to gay men and lesbian travelers
This 3-Star Hotel is superbly located just off the c/Larios shopping street and right in the heart of the historic district, near the Cathedral. Within easy walking distance are the shops, restaurants and gay bars of the Plaza Merced in the Centro Historico.
Last renovated in 2004, this 9-storey hotel has 118 guest rooms. All rooms are decorated in a faultless mix of classical and modern, with fine wood furniture and private marble bathrooms. And with all this modernisation, it is not surprising to see the addition of the latest technology – including Wi Fi connection.
Don Curro Hotel has a cosy restaurant where meals range from local Mediterranean cuisine to further-a-field dishes. Alternatively, the hotel’s new Moka Café serves delicious homemade pastries and lighter snacks.

Rating and advising on hotels around the world is a tricky business as standards and facilities vary so widely not to mention issues such as décor style, service levels and location with particular relevance to gay amenities.
We don’t pretend that we have got this right but our Pink Triangles are our attempt to give a personal assessment to enable comparisons to be made between the various properties in an area which we feature. Couple this with price and our hotel descriptions and you should be able to make a reasonable assessment.
