Superb luxury in Malaga's first 5* Hotel
Built in 2010, this 109-room city hotel has an avant-garde style. It is built over part of the old Arab city wall of Malaga and the remains of the old river gate have been lovingly restored for visitors to admire. Further history is seen in the façade which was once part of a Malaga inn and dates to the early part of the 20th century. The hotel has been totally rebuilt behind this facade, taking care to preserve both the patio that gave it its name as well as an original hallway.
Located in the historic centre, the hotel offers easy and fast access to all the points of historical and cultural interest in Malaga City. The Carmen Thyssen Museum is just around the corner and all Malaga’s other famed sights are just minutes walk away. The Malagueta Beach is about 1 km away with the train station from the airport just five minutes walk away.
All rooms enjoy satellite flat-screen TV’s, direct dial telephone, ADSL Internet access, a minibar, safe, independent thermostat system and a full bathroom equipped with a shower/bathtub, magnifying mirror, hairdryer and a bathroom telephone. Further standard features include a double bed and individually regulated air conditioning and heating units.
The hotel’s roof top features a magnificent terrace and pool with a café bar and offers magnificent views of the City

Rating and advising on hotels around the world is a tricky business as standards and facilities vary so widely not to mention issues such as décor style, service levels and location with particular relevance to gay amenities.
We don’t pretend that we have got this right but our Pink Triangles are our attempt to give a personal assessment to enable comparisons to be made between the various properties in an area which we feature. Couple this with price and our hotel descriptions and you should be able to make a reasonable assessment.
