A distinctively beautiful villa set a stone’s through from the beach
The Hotel Romantic occupies three neighbouring nineteenth-century villas that have been lovingly restored in accordance to the style and age of the property. Located right in the centre of Sitges, it is just a stroll from the bars, clubs and of course the beach. Moreover, the hotel is ideally situated near the railway station, so making your way from the airport, or traveling further-a-field wont be a problem.
The Romantic is a 3-storey, white-stone walled building with a delightful interior courtyard, filled with huge century-old palm trees, ivy and honeysuckle. This creates the perfect balance between shaded areas and sun-drenched patio areas depending on guest preferences. Hotel walls are filled with paintings, and pottery and antiques add an unmistakable charm – and, as the name suggests, romantic atmosphere.
Many of the 62 well-equipped guest rooms have terraces or balconies overlooking the stunning gardens. Rooms are simply decorated with traditional, antique-style furniture and charmingly; no two rooms are the same.
Breakfast is served in the indoor dining rooms or in the garden, amongst the beautiful sculptures and mulberry bushes, and the relaxing sound of the water fountains will compliment the sampling of the finest wines from the hotel’s bar.
Staff are friendly and welcoming, so its no wonder this property is well known to the gay community and is a favourite amongst gay holidaymakers.

Rating and advising on hotels around the world is a tricky business as standards and facilities vary so widely not to mention issues such as décor style, service levels and location with particular relevance to gay amenities.
We don’t pretend that we have got this right but our Pink Triangles are our attempt to give a personal assessment to enable comparisons to be made between the various properties in an area which we feature. Couple this with price and our hotel descriptions and you should be able to make a reasonable assessment.
