Located in the heart of the historical district and just around the corner from the Royal Palace, the Lord Nelson is Sweden’s most narrow hotel reminiscent of an old ship. Each floor is named after a ships deck with the unique roof top terrace funnily named the poop-deck. Here you can relax and unwind with views out over the rooftops of the old town.
Again sticking with the ship theme all the 29 rooms have been named after antique ship models which are displayed within. Although each room in this hotel is relatively small, the hotel makes up for this with plenty of charm and a warm atmosphere.

Rating and advising on hotels around the world is a tricky business as standards and facilities vary so widely not to mention issues such as décor style, service levels and location with particular relevance to gay amenities.
We don’t pretend that we have got this right but our Pink Triangles are our attempt to give a personal assessment to enable comparisons to be made between the various properties in an area which we feature. Couple this with price and our hotel descriptions and you should be able to make a reasonable assessment.
