Located directly in the centre of the shopping area of Torremolinos with scores of shops and other entertainment venues in the immediate vicinity, the Flamingo was one of the first holiday hotels built in 1974. Now managed by the Roc chain of holiday hotels, it was completely renovated in 2002. Its location is just three minutes from the bars and clubs of La Nogalera and the train station for the airport service. The lift or steps to the Playa Bajondillo with its two gay beaches is just five minutes away.

The hotel is fully air-conditioned and consists of 243 double rooms on eleven floors. There is a refined lobby with lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. There is also a games room, a TV room, a café, a cosy bar, restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and an Internet terminal. A laundry service and car parking facilities are also available at extra charge.

In the gardens are a large swimming pool, deck chairs and parasols. Table tennis, pool and snooker are all available and there is a daily entertainment programme on offer.

Rooms are spacious with a choice of 1 double or 2 single beds and have an en-suite bathroom and balcony. Junior Suites are larger rooms with a seating area. A buffet is available at breakfast and all-inclusive with buffet lunch and dinner and local drinks is also available.
