Modern Business Hip in a Great Location
Part of the Como chain of modern style hotels, the Bangkok Metropolitan was opened in October 2003 on the South Sathorn Road less than 10 minutes walk from the gay nightlife in Silom and the Sala Daeng SkyTrain station for easy access to Bangkok’s sights and shopping areas.
The 171 rooms are furnished in a cool and contemporary east-west aesthetic with modern Oriental accents. They offer every modern convenience for both the business and leisure visitor with complimentary daily yoga classes.
Our City rooms are 22 sqm and feature a Queen bed and mosaic and limestone bathrooms with a combined shower and tub. Our Metropolitan rooms are the largest standard/deluxe rooms in Bangkok, at 51 sqm. King size or twin beds are flanked by a simple teak wood sofa, bedecked in Thai silk cushions. The bathrooms are conspicuously oversized with seperate shower and tub.
There are two world-class restaurant and “The Met” night club and bar for guests and their visitors only. Outside there is a 20 metre lap-pool with sun terraces overlooked by a state of the art fitness centre.
