Doubletree, famed throughout the US for its signature cookies, has a great location on 17th and Collins just a stones throw from Lincoln Road Mall and 5 blocks from the gay section of beach.
It’s a typical chain hotel – very predictable and lacking in some of the hip sparkle of other South Beach properties – but it has one very distinct advantage - the huge fresh water pool with ample sun terraces and bar with direct access onto the beach.
This double fronted property has 185 rooms spread over three floors. All rooms have the same amenities but upgraded rooms are larger or have ocean views.
