Japanese themed serenity in the heart of the City
Ideally located in the very heart of the city, you're just two blocks from Market Street or Union Square with its fine shops, theaters and restaurants. The Castro is a ten minute ride up Market Street and the cable cars provide easy access to Fisherman's Wharf.
A great feature of the hotel is its fifth floor solarium. Regardless of the weather outside, you can bask in the warmth of our indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, infused with sunlight filtered through the atrium above.
Standard rooms have at least one large flat panel television, large desks, high-speed wireless Internet access, stereo and CD players and spacious bathrooms with one queen sized bed.
Deluxe rooms are larger with two queen sized beds and are suitable for 2, 3 or 4 people.

Rating and advising on hotels around the world is a tricky business as standards and facilities vary so widely not to mention issues such as décor style, service levels and location with particular relevance to gay amenities.
We don’t pretend that we have got this right but our Pink Triangles are our attempt to give a personal assessment to enable comparisons to be made between the various properties in an area which we feature. Couple this with price and our hotel descriptions and you should be able to make a reasonable assessment.
