17 Nights Independent Tour with Guide

An overnight stay in Delhi, heart of India, will be your first stop. A day in this vibrant, culturally rich town would take you back into the times of the Mughals as you admire their rich heritage all over the city. New Delhi brings you into more recent times, showing you the face of newer India with traces of British legacy all around the center of Delhi, in Connaught Place. Your tour includes a night out at a gay night club where you can not only party but also make friends with fellow gay men from India.

An early morning flight to Lucknow will leave the day free for sightseeing in this beautiful town with Imambaras and chowks famous for handicrafts. The next day a train will take you to Varanasi, a city considered one of the oldest in the world.

Bandhavgarh National Park, a wildlife sanctuary, would be the next stop. You track the tiger for a day and after a morning to game viewing proceed to Khajurao, famous for its beautiful temples. At Orrcha you make another stopover for temple viewing before taking the train to Agra


The mascot of the country; the face of India; the Taj Mahal stands tall in Agra. This token of love from a man to his wife symbolizes love and the wealth and prosperity of Mughals.  Next to it also stands the majestic Agra Fort overlooking the Yamuna.

You now move to the mighty Indian deserts, your first stop being the pink city, Jaipur. Here you can explore the vibrant markets, forts etc. Your next stop, Udaipur is also famed for its palaces and havelis bringing a nostalgic ring to the trip. After that you journey to Bombay, the coastal metropolitan full of life and a great deal of hubbub. Sprouting with life, this city has much to offer its tourists be it beaches, architectural feasts or monuments. The last stop of the trip, it is sure to be a perfect end to a completely Indian experience. 

Throughout the duration of your tour in India, you will either choose to travel on your own or as a part of a larger gay group. All our guides are gays or gay welcoming, similarly all our host hotels in India welcome LGBT travellers. 

Day 01: Arrive in Delhi

After arrival at the capital city, you transfer to the hotel and stay there overnight.

Day 02: Delhi

This morning you take a full day city tour of Old & New Delhi. This day would end with an overnight stay at Delhi.

Evening: Excursion of a gay Bar / Night Club or an invitation to an exclusive gay party at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi à Lucknow by flight

The morning flight to Lucknow, frees the rest of the day for sightseeing. The stay will be overnight at Lucknow.

Day 04: Lucknow à Varanasi by train

Check out from hotel & transfer to railway station to board afternoon train to Varanasi. Arrive at Varanasi & transfer to hotel. The stay will be overnight at Varanasi.

Day 05: Varanasi

Morning boat excursion on the river Ganges, a ferry pilgrimage from ghat to ghat. The stay will be overnight at Varanasi.

Day 06: Varanasi à Bandhavgarh by train

Check out from hotel & transfer to railway station to board afternoon train to Katni and then drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. The stay will be overnight at Bandhavgarh. 

Day 07: Bandhavgarh

Jeep Safari in National Park. The stay will be overnight at Bandhavgarh.

Day 08: Bandhavgarh à Khajuraho

After check out from hotel at 1200 hrs, take the long drive to Khajuraho. Arrive at Khajuraho & transfer to hotel. The stay will be overnight at Khajuraho. 

Day 09: Khajuraho

Morning visit the world famous Khajuraho temples. The stay will be overnight at Khajuraho. 

Day 10: Khajuraho à Orchha àJhansi à Agra

Leave in the morning to get to the Orchha in time to see its famous temples before boarding the afternoon train to Agra from Jhansi. Arrive at Agra & transfer to hotel. The stay will be overnight at Agra.

Day 11: Agra

In the morning, visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. The night will be spent in Agra.

Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays for visitors.

Day 12: Agra à Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

This day too, an early morning drive takes you to Jaipur, visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Soon after arriving at Jaipur you transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to visit Chowki Dhani ( an ethnic village resort ) for a perfect rajasthani experience. You will be staying overnight at Jaipur.

Day 13: Jaipur

This morning gets you on an elephant first thing in the  morning with a  one way elephant ride to  get to  Amber Fort; The stay will be overnight at Jaipur.

Day 14: Jaipur à Pushkar via Ajmer

Morning drive to Pushkar via Ajmer visiting Dargah-Sharif & later drive to Pushkar. Arrive Pushkar & transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit city. Visit Pushkar . The stay will be overnight at Pushkar.

Day 15: Pushkar à Udaipur

Check out from hotel at 1200 hrs and drive to Udaipur, Arrive at Udaipur & transfer to hotel. The stay will be overnight at Udaipur.

Day 16: Udaipur

Morning visit city. The stay will be overnight at Udaipur.

Day 17: Udaipur à Bombay by flight

Check out from hotel & transfer to airport to board flight for Bombay. Arrive at Bombay & transfer to hotel. The night will be spent in Bombay.

Day 18: Departure

Morning Visit Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging Gardens situated on the slopes of Malabar Hill offering a panoramic view of Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Prince of ales Museum, Mani Bhawan, Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India & drive through the Crawford Market, Marine Drive & Flora Fountain.

Price:   from £1899 per person based on sharinga doubnle room in 4 star hotels with breakfast. Flights from your local UK airport to Delhi and returning from Bombay are extra. We always quote the lowest flights at the time of booking.
