Sandra Lee is a small boutique property built in the 1950’s and still reflects the mid-century retro "old-Florida" style motel retaining many of the period features such as ornate walkway fretwork.
With only 9 units, the Sandra Lee Inn is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing vacation by the shore. It’s located just 150 yards from Fort Lauderdale's beautiful beach to the north of Sunrise Boulevard but still within walking distance of the Galleria mall. 18 St gay beach is ten minutes walk away.
The swimming pool (heated in winter) is situated in the middle of the grassy courtyard surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants and flowers. Complimentary pool towels and folding lounge chairs are available to take to the beach.
Rating and advising on hotels around the world is a tricky business as standards and facilities vary so widely not to mention issues such as décor style, service levels and location with particular relevance to gay amenities.
