Amsterdam Court Hotel is located in the heart of Midtown, two blocks from the Rockefeller Center and just off Broadway and Fifth Avenue. It’s handy for all the Broadway has to offer and is just ten minutes walk from Times Square.

The hotel offers 135 guestrooms in an eight-storey building. Room décor includes neutral colors, track lighting, upholstered reading chairs, built-in storage, and low platform beds with Belgian linens, down comforters, and multiple pillows. The rooms have recently redecorated in art Nouveau style and the bathrooms have marbled floors, glass vanities and Egyptian cotton towels.

The Hotel is home to an independently owned Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant and lounge, and offers a raw bar, sushi bar, cocktails, wine and sake. Complimentary self-serve espresso and coffee are available 24 hours a day in a lounge off the lobby that also includes a computer offering high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

Rating and advising on hotels around the world is a tricky business as standards and facilities vary so widely not to mention issues such as décor style, service levels and location with particular relevance to gay amenities.
