Built in 1939, the art-deco styled Carlyle was recently converted into an all-suite hotel and is ideal whether you are visiting DC on business or pleasure. Just four blocks from the gay centric area around Dupont Circle with its subway station, bars restaurants and clubs, you can also walk to the White House and government buildings.

Our suites are large with separate sleeping, sitting and work areas plus a simple kitchenette – fine for fixing breakfast or a late supper.
The hotel offers complimentary use of the Washington Sports Club (five blocks from the hotel), a full-service health club, for those who wish to keep in trim
