As many of our regular customers who I have met over the past ten years of Amro Holidays will know, the travel business has been just one of my many commitments and so has occupied only a small portion of my overall time.

Sadly over the past six months or so and due to these other commitments, I have been unable to devote as much time as I would like to Amro. This has been a source of concern to me as I have wished to maintain the quality and service levels for which we have become known.

After much thought and consideration, I have decided, therefore, that Amro will close its online booking facility and website today. All outstanding holidays will operate as normal and any outstanding payment balances should be paid on the due date. Unlike many travel companies in these difficult economic times, Amro Holidays Ltd is not going into administration or ceasing to trade, so all outstanding holidays will operate as planned and booked and our ATOL Licence remains fully in force.

It is my hope that when time permits, I may be in a position to restart taking bookings as a bespoke travel company based upon my knowledge of the needs of the gay and lesbian traveller. Consequently the our "Contact Us" facility will remain available and I will respond to any enquiries just as quickly as I can. Our phone numbers have already closed.

In the meantime, I would like to thank the many thousands of customers and all our many suppliers around the world who have supported Amro over the past decade and to wish you all well. I hope to be back soon ! Happy holidays !!
